So how do you submit an MTR?
- Download WinMTR.
- Extract the contents of the .zip file to your desktop.
- Open the WinMTR folder, open the folder corresponding to your version of Windows (32-bit or 64-bit) and run WinMTR.exe.
- Enter the IP address you want to test in the Host field the IP address of the service to diagnose.
- Note: If multiple IPs are listed, run the WinMTR test for each IP address. Click Start, and then start the server to be tested. If no connection problem is detected within the first 5 minutes, restart the test.
- If you get a connection error (loss check below), play for at least another 5 minutes and then click Stop in WinMTR.
Afterward, click “Export Text” and send that text output to your ticket and wait for a reply.
